About Buggledoo Pet Sitting, LLC

Buggledoo Pet Sitting, LLC (pronounced "bug-uhl-doo" - it's Doodlebug mixed up! - and is a nickname for our Little Man) is a business that I established in May 2009 that provides pet sitting, dog walking and overnight pet/home sitting services to people and their pets in the Charlottesville/Albemarle area. I primarily service Crozet, Ivy, Batesville, White Hall, surrounding areas of western Albemarle, and Charlottesville. I may be able to provide services to other parts of Albemarle for an additional fee.

I have been a frequent customer of pet-sitting services in the past and love when my pet sitter communicates a lot with me after the initial consultation through notes, e-mails, voicemails, etc. I love coming home to a long note about my kitties and their antics while I was away, and I love hearing how the sitter has formed a bond with them and really cares about them! It's also nice to have the kitties act uninterested in my return because then I know the sitter has done a good job of giving them the love and attention they need! When the owners like communication as well, I like to give them udpates while they are away (via e-mail, phone, text messages or posts to my blog), rather than having them wait until they get home to hear how much fun we've had. My primary objectives in providing my services are to (1) shower the pets in my care with love and attention (including hearing my voice and receiving lots of petting, if the pet will allow), (2) keep the pets in my care as HAPPY as possible while their people are away, and (3) communicate with the owner through updates to my blog and detailed notes regarding each of my visits.

Welcome to my blog! This blog is the website for my business while I contemplate whether to create a "real" website. (In the meantime, I am trying to make this as user-friendly as possible!)
